I485J Receipt Notice - Significance?
I filed my 485 in Oct 2020. I got the receipt notice for I485J 3 weeks ago. Anybody knows the significance of this receipt? I have not applied for any job change. The form I485J form was filed along with 485 to confirm bonafide job offer. Was curious if this means my application is now with a case office?

I got my RFE for Medicals last week… @samm sen - difficult to answer without knowing more details… did u get EAD/AP?

@Rahul M - Bio Metrics on April 9th , submitted medical , nothing on EAD and AP. PD July 19 and Filing date Oct 2020

@samm. I heard some ppl are getting GC without even getting EAD/AP and interview…since you have submitted medical your GC issuance is probably very near now…and does not seem likely that you will have interview also…

hi everyone i filed my application on oct 2019 texas service centre EB3 unskilled nov 2019 got EAD feb 2020 i140 approved oct 2020 ead renewal applied may 2021 got RFe on medical and i485j responded rfe on june 5 2021 and i485j was waived 3 days ago i got EAD renewal approved which I did not want lol now will my RfE will get long time to respond since i already got EAD ? will i485j will also get approved? how long will it take them to respinse rfe? will i get interview?

nabin - interview may likely get waived… from what I have seen in other cases, you may get GC within a couple of months…pls keep us posted here once you get it… what is your field office location?

I filed application when I was in Dallas- Texas service centre and my work location is in South Carolina - Charleston. and i changed address a year ago but still my file is in texas service centre and from TSC they issued me RFE i am worried because recently I got EAD after 10 months so will they be taking time to issue me GC.

@samm: PD is used only for when you can file… once you filed 485, everyone is in same queue… but processing times seem to vary based on FO location…but u need Final Action date current for final GC issuance is what I have heard…
