hi guys
I change to a new company last year. my lawyer file for the i485j 6 month ago via mail. But I never got any response back from uscis. Not even a confirmation letter that they got the case and give me a case number. now all I have is a FedEx tracking number from when my lawyer sent it to uscis. is it normal?? and do I contact uscis about this? thank you

Well, you shouldn't have sent it in, the lawyer just wanted his dues.
Just expect an interview/RFE once your case is current

idk why people even bothering to filing supJ from another company. its always advisable to keep signed and wait until they ask you to provide one! Guess what most of the time if you submit documents before USCIS ask you one. it brings more complications! My attorney says always wait until they send you rfe and answer questions only if asked!
