I485 transferred to FO from NBC. Is this a good sign?
My I-485 has been transferred from NBC to New Orleans FO. Does anyone know what the processing times are at NOLA after 485 transfer? Not sure what this means since I’m from Norcal and it’s a non local FO.

mine is also apparently at a non local FO but never got a notice.. i found out via emma

I heard if not local transfer, you have great chances to get approved w/out interview. They only move to your local FO if you will need an interview.

@EB1, I talke it as a good sign. Many of my friends who filed in EB1A category late last year and early this year didn’t get Interview, not even EAD combo card but I-485 approved two/three months after biometric right away. NBC is processing the applications at a record speed. I come under New Orleans FO but my case is at NBC. I got my biometric appointment at reasonable time but not sure how busy they are with I-485 processing.

@EB1, Something is telling me I-485 approval is coming on your way. It’s been 90 days for you. My guess is anywhere between 110 to 150 days with an average of 120 days after I-485 filing. I wish you hear some good news.
