I485 Transferred from NBC to Nebraska
I sent my employment based 485 to NBC. Multiple Emma agents have told me it has been transferred to Nebraska Service Center the first week of May.
Why would this happen? I thought NBC was the center that processed AOS?

PD is May 2022 for EB3 so I am current.

your approved I140 must be from Nebraska and NBC request for something related to your i140 and priority date confirmation (my guess, not sure) from Nebraska before being transferred to any FO. it was happened to me.

My PD is May as well, complete application submitted in March.. Haven’t received a biometrics notice yet

@Jay K my I140 was approved with Nebraska as well but it was not non-concurrent filing. so unclear why my application was transferred to Nebraska. did your i485 got approved? also moving to nebraska means, longer wait time?

hi @anant saxena, mostly I'm assuming yours was recent i140 approval from NSC. mY guess it might be the case, especially i predictedbased on mine. transferring to Nebraska from NBC and Nebraska will send again to NBC will usually take min 2 months which is unnecessary. I lost around 2 months for this. otherwise NBC would have directly send the file electronically to any FO. my file was completely approved on May 2023.
