i485 processing items Nebraska v/s Vermont
So few months ago USCIS made some changes on VAWA & VAWA based i485 processing centers.
Now VAWA & i485 are going to be processed at Nebraska service center instead of Vermont service center. So we send our forms directly to Nebraska. The good thing is that the Nebraska center’s processing time is roughly 14 months compared to Vermont’s 26 months. (Both data for 80% of i485 cases received).
Not sure how long that Nebraska center processing time of 14 months is going to last considering the war on immigration under the new administration. Also, are people still getting i485 interview waivers? Or is it mandatory now?
