i485 pending
is anyone who got his vawa approved last year and his case got transferred to NBC got his i485 approved yet, I’ve noticed that all the i485 approval are from Vermont nothing from NBC.
I’ve sent my medical to NBC and they received April 1st 2024 and it’s been nothing.

My case was at Vermont pd March 1 2021 ...approved in December 2023..case transferred to NBC..got Rfe for medical February..biometrics May ..and got Rfe last week from Field Office in New York for I864-w ..hopefully I will be approved soon after receiving Rfe .

@f g yeah I’ve noticed that NBC taking forever, Vermont after maximum a month of receiving the RFE they approve, I started to panic and I feel they send the complicated cases to NBC for a reason and for long wait!!!

I’ve seen a lot ppl who applied after me and got approved after me and they already got the green card. hopefully we’re next 🙏

all I-485 are transferred to NBC. they process it and then decide to transfer it to other offices to finish adjudication

@survivor p so can I get approved from NBC directly or it has to be transferred to OF to make a decision?

@tee m that’s a good question. not sure but I believe if there is no issue and interview is waived NBC can approve petition without Field Office. But again, that’s what I think, not sure it work like this 🤷♂️ my VAWA was approved and since then I have no idea what’s going on with my I-485
