they usually request for medical @prazzi S . why not wait to get the RFE first. just my opinion though

the RFE medical will carry instructions on where to send it to or to come along with it during interview. @prazzi S . Sending it without that instructions on the RFE may be a risk

there’s no risk other then just loosing money for medicals , I have 2 copies so there’s risk of me loosing 100$ if they don’t add it my file

but doing interfile will save me time if it get accepted, just wanted to make sure the address

@prazzi S why would you send something that they didn’t ask you for. I’d say wait for the rfe. the medical won’t expire. Or they’d just ask you to bring it with you to the interview

@prazzi S I’d advice you wait till you get the RFE before sending the medical. You don’t even know if you’d be scheduled for an interview and if they do, they will ask you to physically bring your medical to the interview so I’d say, wait. Don’t provide them with that they haven’t asked for. Just my opinion though.

Hi @prazzi S did you get a notification that your case was transferred? my vawa was approved 2 months ago, and I haven’t gotten no further updates on my I-485. did you call them to ask? or did lawfully notify you

what if they need more docs along with medical and you just sending medical.its a big risk just my opinion usually in i485 they will send rfe in which they will ask you what they need along with medical (if interview waived)and they need rfe letter copy too so its a risky

@prazzi S go ahead and mail your Medicals, I don’t understand what ppl say. medicals were valid for two years for a reason. the worse scenario will happen is, if they lose your Medicals. make sure you mail it to the right address. Effective April 4, 2024, any Form I-693 that was properly completed and signed by a civil surgeon on or after Nov. 1, 2023, does not expire, and can be used indefinitely as evidence to show that the applicant is not inadmissible on health-related grounds.

@prazzi S I think best to wait for the RFE, I read this somewhere I’m not sure though the RFE would have a barcode which is how USCIS makes sure submissions are sent to correct file. If you send in now with just the receipts it will probably get there but USCIS has been known to lose/misplace things in some instances even filing fees, perhaps more than you might think. It’s a personal preference though if you want to submit you can or just wait, it’s up to you.

@everyone thanks for all the advise , I appreciate it a lot , so as per new uscis guidelines medicals does not expire anymore if signed after nov1 2023 (@red dead thank you for bringing that up )

@March 2023 for barcode I used this site , they have full guide & worst case scenario I will lose 100$ medical fee I paid extra for additional copy, I have extra copy sealed packet from doctor , https://gcinfo.org/aos/medical-interfiling#timing-of-i-693-submission

@Bakhtiyor M thank you for your response too , no sending uscis medicals does not delay your progress, if uscis does not attach my medicals to my file I will loose money that’s it , but I have extra copy sealed packet for later just in case

From the rfe I got, it was stated categorically to include the copy of the rfe itself which was 3 pages. Then in my case, I was asked for 2 documents and they stated there that if I respond with just one, they might decide and deny my case because of that. In my opinion, I’ll advise you wait and get the rfe since you don’t know if they will ask for more than medicals. Yes waiting is tiring but I believe you won’t want to complicate things more. JUST MY OPINION

they gave address on official RFE @usc 7700 , it’s similar to above mentioned address, I got notification about transfer
