how do you know that they waived your interview

I talk to Emma and she told me my interview was waved and after two months I just got my approval today.

@believe God we applied on 12/2020 for I130, that time my wife was GC holder and we got approved for I 130 on 08/23 after that my wife got citizenship so we applied for the rest on September 2023

Emma can say your interview is waved but then when your file is reviewed prior to approval they can ask for an interview. I was also told mine was waived but no way to know until you’re actually approved.

@w s yes that makes sense but my I130 already approved and my EAD approved so that why I think it may be waived for the interview? especially that we have a kid

no my 130 and 485 have not been approved yet. having a child is good evidence… you probably won’t have an interview, but there’s no way to be absolutely sure until you have your green card in hand. I have 2 kids and 8 years worth of shared travels and living together proof… so hopefully we are both in the “no interview” group.
