The timeline you provided does not line up. If your RD is July 2025 then your application is still recent, not sure how you did fingerprinting a year ago based on the information you provided. Regardless, they announced on Sept 2nd that visa numbers has finished for EB2, which means no further action will be taken on EB2 cases until October 1st. Hope this helps…

@Dee I I believe you are correct on every other statement, but not sure the announcement affects cases that their PD is current already, the belief is that for a date to be current, they have factored the number of GC to be distributed in that time, with all applications with current date in scope for GC. I stand to be corrected though.

@LarryMark Lanray I don’t think so. My date has been current since June 2025, and just yesterday, I got the notification that they have paused processing on my case because visa numbers are not available.

@Dee I sorry for the confusion. Yes you’re right I just edited the post my RD is July 2024. The thing is I never received any notifications since Biometrics which was done exactly 5 September 2024. At least you are receiving something either pausing or whatever

@Younes B , same here the update I got yesterday was the first since after my biometrics in November, 2024. You can check if your case is outside the normal processing to submit an enquiry, otherwise you just have to wait till October for any further action.

@Dee I the first date as for now to submit an enquiry is 2 February 2026. Anyway thanks for the clues…October is around the corner anyway.

my pd is 10 March 2023, rd is 14 Aug 2024. Yesterday my case changed to pending from biometric. My case was transferred from NBC to Phoenix on 26 March 2025. After being 4 months in Phoenix I asked my lawyer to send a service request and in response USCIS told me in 60 to 90 days you will have an update. One month later I chatted with emma and the agent told me the review of your case got completed in the Phoenix and your case will be transferred from Phoenix to Dallas field office. I don't know why uscis transferred my case twice to two Non local office. I belive it will be transferred another time to my local office. Just regarding services request I could see the uscis does not let me send a service request, however my lawyer could do it. I plan to ask my lawyer to send a new one in mid Oct. when the visas are reloaded.

January 2023 Priority date, 485 filling date May 2024.... waiting and waiting, my case never left NBC, did my biometrics on May 2024 and got EAD early June 2024.... I am planning to send a e-request this month. Its frustrating. Lawfully says my case is the 1st on queue for that filling month but I have no idea how accurate it can be (I just got lawfully yesterday).

@A F How you asked from live agent where is your case? You should try multiple times as it seems the level of access to the case for the agents are different

I did try a couple of times until I got a written information that my case was still in NBC. I used the excuse that ny employers was requesting also this information so I believe that might have “helped”

@Mohammad Ebrahimabadi seems all who filed on July 2024 having the same situation. I don’t know what is going on. I’m seeing people filed on July 2025 and they get approved but for some old cases it’s been stuck forever

@in oon I got an update 10 days ago. I will be invited for interview. However they haven’t scheduled it yet.

@Mohammad Ebi did they said ‘case is ready to be scheduled for an interview’?. I know some people they get this update, and some of them they got waived from the interview later on. Do you have any idea how long it takes to schedule one or to inform you if they waived the interview?

no updates, I did reach out to senator on friday asking their support to request uscis to process the case…. in 2 weeks I reach the system date for a formal inquiry, too

@Younes B Actually before getting this update I was told that my interview is waved. Later I got the update of interview. For most of people in one month they are informed about the time.

@Mohammad Ebi oh sorry about that. hope everything goes well. have you contacted a congressman at any point? actually I just got an email from my congressman today saying that they confirmed that I’ll be scheduled for an interview within the next 30 days.
