Yes, I maintained my status. I applied for the i485 with valid status, they have already requested medical exams, (they were sent) I received work permit and parole.

In February I received an update (we are actively reviewing your case). but my priority date only became current in this last visa bulletin of June.

@Ivan R my service center was Potomac. but the i130 was approved in December 2022. I applied the i485 6 months later

@Ludmila Aguilar thanks! I’m in DC but will probably wait few more months before my PD gets current. I also have I-130 approved without the interview. You should be approved pretty soon

@Ludmila Aguilar You can actually file a service request if you haven’t heard back if it’s been more than 30 days since your visa availability. Check this link https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/visa-availability-priority-dates/visa-retrogression

@Ilyas Ajouaoud Thank you for the tip. I asked my lawyer and she said: your priority date is current, but the service center needs to send your process to the Field office for a decision to be made. but they haven't done that yet, so we need to wait.
