i485 EAD processing (principal pending)
hi, me and and my spouse i485 biometric was schedule on 11/21, spouse ead approved on 11/23. mine is still pending. caste status updated for me showing step3 (biometric was completed) but no approvals yet. spouse status changed to approved with approval notice shared. anyone seeing this pattern where derivate is approved and principal pending?

@ Shri Ram seems to be pattern these days. it may come by January then considering average processing time to be around 3-3.5 months. just my hunch!

interestingly my 131 and 765 timestamp updated today.. been refreshing to see if it is approval lol

same happened to me too. I’m still waiting after biometrics on Oct 17

just a small update to share: my 485 and 485J both got silent updates on Monday 12/8. spouse 485 also had silent update on 12/5. some light at the end of the tunnel. i765 continues to be in same state- pending

My 485 got approved today! My spouse 485 got an RFE though 😢But fingers crossed that everyone will get yours soon!

@Anh Nguyen not yet. still the same API update for both of my 485 and spouse and 485J. based of other experiences it’s an indication for an approval. let’s see. wish me good luck.
