@RaeWeird! NO PROBLEM! GLAD TO SHARE! Timeline (benefits center, Newark NJ FIELD OFFICE) Marriage based GC to a uS Citizen I485-i130-1 PD for all of them : September 18th 2019. Biometrics: October 18th 2019. Case has been ready for an interview since January 10th2020 EAD combo card recieved by February 21st 2020 ***Social Security came separately after 3-4 days November 16th: Interview has been scheduled! November 20th: got letter in the mailbox. Interview Date: December 30th. *we never got separated. Approximately 30min. A letter was handled to us. Case is being under review. Phone was updated to New card is being produced! 🥰

thanks! I forgot about the predictions... 33% (which was the higest) was from 1/15/2020-5/15/2020. 26% from 5/15/2020-9/12/2020. 20% (which is the currently one) 9/12/2020-1/9/2021

thank you! the officer asked us how we met.. when we met physically Nd when we started dating?... then it was mostly from the i-485 form... where we worked. my name, husband's name ... if I know my parents in Law. if we traveled together. if we had a honeymoon. where we lived. zip code. I brought car insurance. lease of the apartment. like 300 pictures where he just grabbed 7-10. 2018-2019 taxes. bank statements and thats all. he kept the taxes and w-2s ...

please I need someone to share experience if if they had the same experience that I have.. I first got married 2015 and we filed but the marriage didn’t work so we have divorced, and I re-married 2019 so my wife filed for me. I submitted new application around February 2019 work permit was issued and around March 2019 we had our interview, the interview went well the Officer who interviewed us said “ when you get your green Card is going to be 2 years and make sure you file for remove condition. “we were happy and we left. Around April, 2019 i130 was approved again the happiness was at it picked for me and my wife, by August we received letter from USCIS said we should submit additional evidence which we did in timely manner. Ever since we submitted the additional evidence since August 2020 they only sent us a receipt notice that they received our evidence and their office is working on it that, they will mail us their decision. Since then we haven’t heard anything from them and I keep on checking my status nothing has changed. When we submitted the additional evidence we also submitted application to re- new my work permit and it was approved less than 3 months. please does anybody have an idea of what USCIS is going to do? please any response will be appreciated 👏

@folarin wow you also got an interview before I-130 was approved ? have you tried contacting your local congressman? maybe they can help to push your application. You can email them or call. Definitely try both

@alina you are not asking me but... my interview was 11 months after case is ready for interview and i130 got approved one day after the interview

@angelina I remember you told me before and I thought it happens to only few people. I received a noticed that soon I will have an interview, but still no approval for I-130. So your interview went like a regular interview about your relationship etc. This is so helpful because I was so confused. Thank you for your response

@alina... it mostly happens that to the people that submitted everything together. i submitted i130,i485, and working and travel permits along with medical report and affidavits support since my husband didn't make enough. everything together. was a package with more than 150 pages together 😢. yes the interview was mostly from the i485... the officer was like confirming the information there. where we lived, how we met, when and where did we meet. he never separated us. he just asked us if we have kids, and if we were planing to have kids just make copies of your taxes cause I brought the only ones I have without making copies and now I don't have any prove of taxes 🤣🤣 im gonna have to go to my accounter and get copies of them

@angela omg thank you for such details. I will definitely make sure to make copies of all my documents. The thing is I never filed I485 together because my lawyer said wait for I130 approval. @alina I filled everything together and by myself... idk if you already submitted i485 but its takes a long time to get that interview. I waited 15 months and a half. dont spend more money in lawyers. you can do it yourself. and submitted everything necessary for the forms. like medical report and stuff so they don't ask you for RFE later and delayed your case even more ! I will keep u updated about the GC. when it gets here and for how long they are giving it to me :)
