What a journey this has been for me. In the fall of 2018, I came to the USA reluctantly with the hope of starting my life over and a dream of living in my truth. It was not an easy decision and certainly was not an easy process. Winning asylum 6 months later, a process I could not even fathom was in itself overwhelming. Then finally receiving my EAD and the ability to work in the US legally; that sense of self actualization, it was finally happening.
Leaving behind my home country, my culture, my family was hard. But I just could not keep pretending and always sensed the United States was an inevitable beacon of freedom for me. It was truly where I was meant to be. Maybe it was the culture, the films, TV and music, the food, the people, the dream big life style, that sense of safety and possibility to fully realize who you are. There were bumps along the way to get here, but I don't regret it.
For those who have yet to start the journey or just going through the process, I send you all the strength, love, compassion, blessing and prosperity that your journey ultimately leads to success. Even though my experience was a hard one, I think about those who are not fortunate to have some of the resources afforded to me. I think about those trapped in persecution, stuck at the border, crossing through the Darien Gap. My prayers are with you.

February 2021 Biometrics interview
July 2021 New Card is Being Produced (no interview)

@rivan Nebraska. @Tima I believe your close to getting yours as well. @fs I’m not comfortable sharing those details, but if you have done Biometrics then things are moving in right direction.

@jack something is definitely going on with Texas why they are taking so long. NBC was long too, 12 months. but at least you know they are working.
