no not really. after November they are waiving the interview for parents. we are in the same boat. RFE for medical sent after I 130 approval. it is one month now. waiting for I 485 approval

our time line filled on June 14th. biometrics on August 13th. I 130 approval Dec 28th. RFE for medical Jan 7th

Congrats Sush P! I had my interview two days ago. It went really well and the officer did really ask a lot of questions. We had everything prepared.. Tge officer did say if we were approved or not. tge following day, my I-130 changed to approved. but no change for my I-485. Did you have the same thing? US citizen filing for a spouse here.

@ An A. They ask my petitioner date of birth, full name, my date of birth , my date of entry to US. thats it. don’t worry you will be fine. just take all notices from Uscis sent to you just in case they ask.

first of all CONGRATS!! We did our interview in Chicago 2 weeks ago, still pending as “Interview is scheduled” when was your interview? and did you receive the paper that says “under review” ? and when was your interview. Happy for ya!

@sush P, when did you get the interview letter ? in september ? and when was the actual interview ? Did you apply for EAP/AP ? did you receive them ?

@An A, are you also from chicago area ? what is your priority date and interview dates ?

I did not receive any paper after interview. interview was on 3 feb 2022 I received my interview letter on 27 Jan. I received my EAD/AP in December. Priority date is May 05 2021

ok.. so, it took 7 months for EAD/AP. They just gave you 1 week notice for the interview.. that's close.. Trying to estimate my EAD approval as I filed in Sep 2021

ah ok.. I don't understand why they take time to issue EAD as it comes from NBC and nothing to do with Chicago FO. Applicants from Philadephia are getting EAD in 3 months.
