how admin closed

It will be automatic denied if u already have one for 5 year nd admin closed after tht then the one u have its useless

they denied your case how do I know it happened to me last year had to refile my either case

if your I-485 is closed administrativelly, it doesn't mean your case is denied. simply means they are waiting on other jurisdiction to give them more elements to reopen your case, however you will continue to be able to renew your EAD or work permit as long as case is still pending with USCIS. please keep doing just that and work with an attorney.

@Blaise Fosanoh in the case the EAD was concurrently filed with the I-485 will it still be processed/approved after the admin closure?

@John Wayne duh! you getting work permit based on i485 if that petition got denied work permit will be denied or useless if u have one

they is a Difference between case closed administrativelly and case denied, yes they will continue to process your EAD untill case is reopened or finally denied

@John Wayne make sure you work with your attorney on this, I bet you were given the reason why cased was closed and probably the way forward to get it reopened again.
