I485
My question is if you’re no longer in removal proceedings can your lawyer call Uscis let them know and than they can open your I485 and adjust you or may be you have to pay a another fee for a new one.

Your attorney should send the court letter to USCIS to reopen your case. No payment is required unless opening a new case.
Steph RomanoApr 2, 2024
upload the court dismissal for the removal on your online account and call USCIS to let them know so they can reopen the case.

@Steph Romano he always tells me DHS have to do it and now I’m waiting more than two years so sad
Steph RomanoApr 3, 2024
well I’m telling you from my own experience, I didn’t wait for my lawyer to do it, I uploaded myself and few days later I called USCIS and then they sent me an email confirming it, 10 days later my case was transferred from NBC to local field…! Would it hurt if you upload the document yourself on unsolicited evidence???? NO!!! I think is better than not do anything and hold my breath waiting my lawyer to do anything for my own future, but that’s my own and humble opinion 🤷🏻♀️ Wishing you luck !

@Steph Romano ok I’ll do it just now but you know how long it takes to get something from them

@AchAay AchAay Every case varies, but mine took approximately three months. I've heard of others taking more or less time than that.

My attorney is diligent, but if your attorney is making many excuses, trust your gut and be proactive, as @Steph Romano suggests!

@Teresa Perez @Steph Romano what you think about this email from Uscis after calling them. << Thank you for contacting USCIS concerning the above-referenced application. Below is a summary of what we have found.
A review indicates that your removal proceedings have been terminated or dismissed by an Immigration Judge. As you are no longer in removal proceedings, USCIS now has jurisdiction to adjudicate your adjustment of status application. We have requested your file and will resume processing of your application. Once further action is taken, notice will be sent to the address of record. If you have not received notice of further action from USCIS within 60 days of this response, please feel free to submit a new inquiry by calling the USCIS Contact Center.
