anyone with similar experience
my i485 was transferred to local office last july with interview being wavied
spoke with uscis today and mentioned that officer reviewed my case last month and transferred case back to NBc office with interview being wavied too
so case pending approval or denial from National benefits office
anyone know how long will it take
PD march 2023
no rfe requested nothing outstanding
my only concern that i have to change address at the end of the month

I wish that if the field office reviewed it and sent it back to nbc they would just approve it then. why does nbc need it back? I think this is what is happening with my case. im May 2023.

The agent may be wrong about your file's location; it seems your file was never sent to the field office. I was approved in July last year, and my interview was waived. My 485 was transferred to the field office on July 26, and I was approved on July 30. Field offices make the last decision on waiving interviews or putting you in the queue for an interview.
