I340 Notice from ICE Obligor has to deliver the Alien
my sister who bail me out receive a notice from ICE and she called letting me know she has to deliver me to ice for an i340 interview. she had already paid the bond and I am no longer in removal proceedings, my i130 is approved and i485 is pending and transferring to local field office.
what will happen when I go the ERO in Miami where my sister reside? will I be detain, or will this be an status check. does anybody know about this notic.. please

just speak to your attorney i read its just them wanting an update on you you have to remember the ICE ans uscis and 2 different offices

So I received a letter on March 15, 2025 I-340 Notice To Obligor to deliver an Alien. So my wife needed to turn me in today April 15, 2025. We walked in to the Federal Building and then they called us to go into a room. It was my Wife, My Attorney and Myself. My previous convictions were a Felony Possesion of a Loaded Firearm which was then reduced to a misdemeanor. Right now I am on BIA Appeal. In 2022 I got arrested for 7 counts or receiving stolen property, however, the charges were dismissed. The ICE agent told me the reason why they had me come in to the interview was because of that case in 2022, but my attorney showed the ICE agent that my case was dismissed and charges dropped. The Ice Agent told me straight up that the plan was to detain me today and have me fight my case in a detention center, but because my attorney showed my case was dropped, she did not detained me. She also mentioned to me that any other arrest that occur in the future will get me deported. So if you have a new case or pending charges expect the worst and good luck to all. I am free and will be waiting for my BIA appeal outside of a detention facility.
