Your I-290B will take more than 2years for any response. Advice - Fix the reason why you were denied and reapply and you are likely to get decision within a year or little above. Reason why you should reapply i-485 also is for EAD. With i-290b, once your current EAD expires, you CANNOT renew. You can only renew EAD if you have a pending i-485

@Ms Kemper thanks for your reply. We contacted the senator’s office and they said contact them again if there is no update for i290b after 60 days. The reason for denial is USCIS didn’t request the petition from consular office and just denied AOS based on what we explained that we got 221g and visa was refused at the consular, but visa application is still in admin processing due to lacking document which we included with the packet when we applied for adjustment of status. The US embassy is just waiting for USCIS to request the petition paperworks

Ms Kemper, another question. If we decide to refile, can we just file i130 and i485 concurrently and nevermind the petition at the US consular because I’m worried that the new i485 will be denied for the same reason since USCIS did not request petition from the US consular

@ R mk, because of federal tax refund I didn't provide on the rfe, from both sponsor,and petitioner

@R mk federal tax returns last year I didn't give it to them,mistake from both, they thought w2 is still ok if you don't have the two ,so hopefully I received answers soon

update on my case April 20,2021 was denied may 18 receive the i-290b, June 7 2021 received receipt notice today card being produced case was reopen no interview needed all thanks to God

it's still at NBC as. far as I know,coz I didn't see no transfer
