I140 Form Inquiry
I’m a self-petitioner applying I140 NIW based on extraordinary ability. Do I select ‘No’ for Q.5 and ‘Yes’ for Q.6 & pay Reduced Aslyum Fees?

NIW is not extraordinary ability!!!. to answer your question, for self petitioners you’re to select No for Q5 and Yes for Q6 and pay the reduced asylum fee of $300 as you have pointed out.

@T. G. thank you for your clarification! I see, but they have two categories: Advanced Degree or Extraordinary Ability that we qualify for so yes it’s for NIW!

it depends, are you applying for NIW on the basis of advanced degree or on the basis of extraordinary ability? If you have an advanced degree like masters, better to use that

@lax at thanks for letting me know! mines the second one: I only hold Bachelors degree but have enough qualifying evidences for the criteria.

All the best. advanced degree is straight forward as its objective. but with extraordinary ability you have to go out of your way to convince the USCIS that you indeed have extraordinary ability. good luck
