may i ask when did your friend get their i140 approval. is it in 2026?

In Facebook and Reddit groups people said they were approved. They're from banned countries, but are inside the US. I don't understand that. Those who are inside are the ones using the welfare stuff. 🤷‍♀️

I know someone from Ghana, West Africa who had approved I-485 and green card sent to him in Feb 2026. Ghana is part of 75 countries concerning welfare. Those in the US are being approved and receiving green cards. But Nigeria looks like a country of particular concern so they are not getting things approved for them.

the 75 countries are not affected. Only the countries in the first 2 bans. Do not mix things up.
