I confirm my priority date is May 10 2022. My lawyer told me premium processing became available and we applied on July 1st. Now that you ask me I’m not sure how that worked out since it seems I shouldn’t have been able to, but it worked out alright!

The just extended the eligibility to all applications filed before August 1st 2021.

based on USCIS website, this NIW PP approval with PD in May 2022 looks like a mistake. may want to confirm with your lawyer/USCIS just to avoid future complications

Hi Lhkro T, here’s my lawyer’s answer to your question: “USCIS cannot rescind their decision purely because they processed it quickly under premium processing. By law there would have to be a reason in the merits of the petition or an issue with fraud for them to be able to do that.“ Also, update on my I-485, it says it’s been transferred to another office so hopefully I get some good news soon!!

I wish you good luck mate. it wasn't because the app processed quicker under PP, but your i-140 was approved via PP when it shouldn't qualified (see the link shared by jj bb above, specifically the section for NIW). We've seen people in the past got a 10-year GC by USCIS's mistake when applicants should get a 2-year and they (applicants) took no actions -- had problems when they attempted to apply n-400 / citizenship. so yes, USCIS's messed up could effect the applicants down the road. Anyway, congrats and good luck

@p p -they changed something today. I usually follow USCIS stats on the hollies today site, but today everything was fucked up. The said USCIS changed their portal hence the crawler doesn't work. Maybe the same thing here

guys, I just looked at the chart for premium processing again today in preparation for my filing, (I become eligible on August 1st) and it says NIW premium processing is now done in 15 days. Unbelievable!!!

“Case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction” - not sure which one yet. Will keep you posted on what comes next.

update: My case is currently with the Dallas field office 🤷🏻‍♂️(I live in NYC)

@m&m I meant to say adjudicated in 15days There is NIW category that qualifies for 15 days processing, but now I don't thinks that's us. I sent my request for Premium processing today. Will keep you guys updated

I think interviews are getting waived for most EB2s. I know they are pushing to issue a lot of GCs before the end of their calendar year on September 30th. You'll probably get it before then

@p p - I’ve been reading a lot here and on Reddit. For most I-485s it seems to be ~30 days after transfer, I’ve seen a few cases where it lasted several months but it seems less frequent, hopefully we’re in the first category!

just got an update that case moved to another office ...2 transfers in 2 days...is it good or bad or regular process?

same as me. I received a notice in the mail that says it got transferred to NBC, and when calling Emma they told me my file was in the Dallas field office.

I-140 approved, 2 days after receipt of premium processing application.

I talked to Emma again, they told me my case is still in Dallas Field Office for a Pre-Decision. Not sure what this means exactly though.

Keep typing: « talk to live agent » until you get a question with a series of choices. I don’t remember the question exactly but one of the choice will be « Green Card », click on it, then you’ll get a prompt asking if you want to talk to a live agent, and that’s it. If it doesn’t work or they say there’s no available agent, just try again and again and again until you get in the queue.

No idea. From what I’ve seen on here and Reddit, it takes from 4 to 9 weeks to be approved once you 485 has been transferred, so that’s what I’m hoping for. It’s been 5 weeks on my side :)

Hey guys! My I-131 updated to “fingerprints were taken” on sept 2. I heard a few people say it’s a good sign your 485 is getting approved soon. Did any of you have the same thing happen?

I aaplied EB2 NIW too on 26 October 2022. Fingerprint was taken on December 2022. But I got RFE in January 2023 without approving I-765. Now I don't know will I get I-765 till RFE deadline?Any ideas, same situations?

I really need I-765 first in order to start a job as DevOps engineer)
