i130 saying “being reviewed” for a second time
Hey guys, new here so my US citizen husband submitted out i130 last Oct 2022, he lives in the US and I live in Peru. Our first update was in Feb saying our case was being actively reviewed and the estimated time in june said 1 week then changed to “your case is taking lo ger than expected “. Today I get a notification that there’s an update but it says the same thing! Today’s date with your case is being actively reviewed again! Now the estimated time says 5 weeks. Has anyone seen this before?

my pd is June 2022. And 2nd actively Review on July 26th 2023. Nothing afterwards waiting for approval I-130/I-485

For me, the approval notice sent to my husband (petitioner) and it showed up under his USCIS account. I recived approval notice few days after.

hey! guy, please what’s the best way to apply for i130 for my sibling/brother? I did the first not if I should have done it that way just curious’ I’m about to apply for my second brother and but just don’t want to wait too long to see them. it’s been 7 years already since I saw my family😭

Congratulations!!! where was your service center. my husband submitted on the 25th October 2022. and it’s under 1st review since 25th of January 2023.

Thank you!! We submitted Oct. 24 2022 and our service center was Nebraska.

hey! my husband applied for i-130 and i-129f in april,2023 i-130 shows “being actively reviewed “ since one month . what time it’ll take to show up new update or what time it’ll take to case approval? any other way to apply visa for spouse of us citizen to get their visa more faster .??

@pardeep sandhu I applied in April2023. case is being actively reviewed. this morning I checked under “my progress” and the time changed from 3 months to 7. I went from having a little hope to OMG… I am having a heart attack 😂

how some applications are getting their visas in 1 to 2 months? we are just waiting and having a hope 😕

@pardeep sandhu this is my 1st time applying for a Visa. I too have combed the web searching for similar cases, is exhausting. Every case is different and it also depends on what center is handeling thr application. I also wonder how is it posible that some spousal petition take 2-3 months others take 1-1.5 years to get the approval. I need to sit back and 😎 relax and stop stressing about. Best of luck to us😉

It takes 1-4 months when you’re in the US already but closer to a year to get the first approval if you live outside the US in another country like me @vanessa angel @pardeep sandhu

@Rossana Gamarra got it! thanks for sharing…I am in the US, husband outside of the US. got the “Actv Reviewing” notification this month Sept, application was received April 21 of 2023. Yesterday my status went from 3 months to 7. let’s see, hoping the time goes by quickly.

@vanessa angel unfortunately the estimated time isn’t very accurate . mine initially said actively being reviewed Feb. 2023 and yesterday 7 months later got the first i130 approval.
