mine changed to actively reviewd 7 days ago after 8 months of waiting and nothing tet

Mine changed to "your case is taking longer than expected" since March 2023. Recently, they reviewed my case. PD 11/25/2022, I-130, US Citizen filing for spouse. My case was first in Texas then transferred to Nebraska. Hope we get an approval soon.

I believe if you get a second actively being reviewed status, then there is a high chance of getting approval. So if it is your second, check your documents tab.

They reviewed my case and the "case processing times" link is gone. It's been 2 weeks now. I think they approve I-130s within 11 months.

@Angel K what do you mean “second actively being reviewed status”? how do we know it’s second? I filed on July 11 2023 and since august 19 it’s 6 days now been actively reviewed. when is the second review?

I am not sure @s r I have seen others mention such a status before and right after that they usually get approval. I believe they got a RFE and then got the second review. My case is also in the first review.

I called and the agent said it's approved so I'm keeping fingers crossed 🤞 and I went on chat after and again agent on chat says it's approved so next week I will be checking like a hawk

@s r Second actively reviewed is when the date of the first actively reviewed has changed to reflect a more recent date.
