I am not an expert but I am pretty sure that you have to have very serious reasons for expedite such as urgent humanitarian reasons. If you mean plane tickets, that is not for sure reason for expedite.

when did you submit your request?

depending on the reason you gave them will dictate the type of evidence you need to submit. I have not yet been asked to submit evidence for my expedite, but I have a very comprehensive package ready to submit when asked, and it's over 40 pages.

@Ike, oh.. it's a huge to take it... @john and @ Veronika ,my sister tested positive with covid and we have our parents to take care of .. so we decided to expedite and we have a. sms showing her positive for covid-19 and I think will they consider wid we share it as a Proof!!! @Ika I submitted 15 days ago...

Send as much evidence as you can, especially medical. maybe if you can get a doctor's note too. be sure to include a statement or letter explaining how the situation negatively impacts the US citizen/petitioner. good luck! keep us posted! also, did you ever speak to a tier 2 agent during your process?

I am sorry that you are experiencing situation like that! I agree with @Mrs. lke that you need to provide as many evidence as possible especially medical evidence. Maybe it will be a good idea to discuss the best approach with a lawyer since it is very important for you to get the expedite approved. Good luck!

I think that you will need more than just sms showing the covid-19 positivity. It will be good to have the official covid test report and notes from the doctor as was already mentioned above.

@mrs ike if its prepared by an attorney then its good I believe his doing it accordingly. I read the 15pages limit but on an online immigration platform so can't really know how legit that is but you got an attorney that's good cus he knows exactly what is needed.
