@Adil Ali after you got approved I-130 you will apply adjustment of status or permanent resident which is I-485 although I did filled together I-485 and I-130 in April 2021, However you can still file that Form I-485. I am not lawyer tho. I just shared my experience…

anyways when you apply the I-485 that’s when they need fingerprint, picture which called biometric and following interview 🥰

@mimi our us lawyer did not tell us anything about the adjustemnt of status or any form other than i-130 ..so it means my interview will not held until i fill 1-485 ?

@mimi the reason why there aren't no movement on your case is because you need to file the form I 485 to get the green card the form I 864 and the form I 765 for work authorization without these your application will not go no further and pay the fees 1250 and get your medical done and send everything in together to get your case moving again...if you don't know how consult am immigration services to assist you

Nevertheless, USCIS processes I-130 forms in time not to delay relatives’ ability to take the next step toward permanent residence once a visa number does become available..... so therefore we didn't file i485 and my wife is in the US too

that's what I am trying to understand as well, because the receipt noticed a was saying what I sent above and that's why we didn't go ahead and did the i485 but if you're not in the US. I don't know much about that,.... but I think i485 is for people in the US already

@TW.W you got all wrong bro @ricka MC was right if the Someone in United States filled petition for he /she relatives you can filled both I-130 and I-485 together called concurrent file, by the way there is always visa available for Family which is your wife and children under 21…… but this case for @Adil Ali I got him now he is outside of status so you can do two ways to request Fiancé visa if you are guys engaged and get married in America 🇺🇸 or if you already married when you get approved for your petition they send National visa center to adjust your status, it takes 6 more steps to finish it

@Adil Ali You can find Emma on the USCIS website. she will contact to you live agent someone who can speak you online chatting then you going tell why your case not approved yet,,,, even you can request expedited to your case it has been a while

exactly, I didn't received any, so when I pulled the i485 form up I noticed they asked for the A-number which I don't receive as yet.....on my noticed.......so therefore I am asking you if you said it should file concurrently.... should I leave it blank and just go ahead without my i130 been approved...... because my noticed specifically say I should wait for approval

@ T.W.w I didn’t have A-Number and I left it blank… as my understanding you have two options: to wait your petition got approved or to file same time Concurrent file, I haven’t seen where petition says you should wait, I went to lawyer before I applied and he advise me to file together, but in your case mybe is different so my advice is go to lawyer for consultation
