i130 - Texas - Request for Evidence
Hi,
I have filled i130 for my spouse PD March 3 2021, Texas service center. Actively reviewing since Oct 1st.
Yesterday I got a notification that USCIS has sent a RFE, I then logged into my USCIS account and saw the RFE notice there. Reading through the notification, it seems like USCIS is looking for 2 passport size photos of me.
I am curious, why they would be looking for photos of me and NOT my spouse because she is the one I am filling i130 for.
Has this happened with anyone else?
Also, do we need to wait to respond until we receive paper copy of the RFE?
Do we need to reply via MAIL or do you guys think we can upload the response online via USCIS myaccount? It seems like there is an option to respond online.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
Thanks,

you need to provide photos of both of you. they need to know who is filing for you through identification.

@Sunny if you able to see it online and able to download stuffs in your account, go ahead and do it. ( Online or by mail it's the same thing... ) When you read the RFE they will even tell you that both of ways are good. The faster, The better. But the only problem people's preferred sending something by mail especially "pictures" is because of the required sizes of the picture. We all know that when you upload pictures on the computer, it won't be the same size like the original that's why people afraid to send pictures over there. Maybe someone who did that once without problems can come and give his own opinion about the experience. But whether Online or by Mail, it's the same thing... just a matter of DELAY.

the thing is my lawyer did submit my and my spouse's pictures with the case initially. I am not sure why USCIS is asking for my pictures again. anyway we will send them the pics to avoid any delays.
