congratulations,please how did u do it. I have my individual hearing in the next 2 years but got married 2 years ago. they yet to approve my I130 for me to cancel the asylum. more information would help adjust my anxiety please.

1) i have a lawyer, I couldn't have done it without them. 2) you can write a "Motion to Advance" to the court which is a request to have your individual hearing happen as soon as possible, based on a hardship that you would otherwise face if you had to wait the full two years. 3) we filed such a Motion to Advance in April 2021, and completely unexpectedly they got back to us in October saying "ok, your hearing is now in two weeks from today." 4) most importantly, you have to have a good reason why you need to have it happen sooner than scheduled. 5) don't do this before your I-130 is approved, however! cause if it works, and you get a faster hearing, then at the hearing your judge will decide on both your asylum and your AOS case at the same time, and so your I-130 must be approved at that time, and you should have done your biometrics, and your medical exam.

I did my bio and I have my marriage interview in 2 weeks received my work permit on marriage bases. so what next do I still need to write the Motion still?

@Bumble Bee you should schedule an info pass with USCIS and show them your signed order so they can produce your card. If you don’t do anything they will take their time.

@lyn lyn mine was terminated after my I-130 was approved. so I terminated the procedure and apply for I-485 with USCIS and not the judge the did mine the other way around
