I wonder the day that your immigrant visa in the embassy was issued, had you have been married for more than two years? I do not know an answer for your question but trying to see if that might be the case.

@D N I would question that. I have heard that if you are married for 2 years by the time the GC is issued, they automatically issue a 10 year card. There have been numerous errors from USCIS lately. I would do an inquiry.

This is off the State department website: If you have been married for less than two years when your foreign citizen spouse enters the United States on an immigrant visa, his or her permanent resident status is considered “conditional.” The immigrant visa is a conditional resident (CR) visa, not an immediate relative (IR) visa. You and your spouse must apply together to USCIS to remove the conditional status within the ninety days before the two-year anniversary of your spouse’s entry into the United States on his or her immigrant visa. The two-year anniversary date of entry is the date of expiration on the alien registration card (green card). See Remove Conditions on Permanent Residence Based on Marriage on the USCIS website.

@D N You may have to trick the system. I used Ask Emma and said Expedite request to get to a live agent for chatting. since your case is "complete", I am u sure of that will work. There is an inquiry that you may be able to use to get your concern read... perhaps using the typographical error online inquiry. List the "typo" as, GC says 2 year expiration instead of 10. That would at the very least get someone to review your expiration. https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
