Congratulations. While you wait for your case to be at the NVC and for them to send it to your embassy, start gathering all of your documents for the interview.

I just got my first step complete still got a way to go thank you for your information about gathering all my information ahead of time Claudia I haven’t received anything yet about interview so I’m not sure how all that works yet but I hope everything goes smoothly for you thank all of you for the kind post

It can take up to 15-60 days for you to hear from NVC. But, it all depends on your embassy and if they are on time or backlogged.

@Jesicca ohh like that and After getting news from NVC then filling out the DS 160 form and waiting for news again to make an interview appointment?? thank you before

@MHD. Once you receive the welcome letter from NVC, you complete the DS-160, pay the visa fee, and schedule your interview. Then you schedule your medical exam and gather all of your documents for the interview. DO NOT wait for your embassy because they will NEVER send you anything.
