I tried contacting USCIS LIVE AGENT .
I tried to contact a live agent at USCIS website and this is what he told me : In order to provide specific information regarding this case, you will need to call our Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 with the applicant or petitioner present. Thank you for contacting USCIS. Please enjoy the rest of your day!
My PD is December 15/2023 Texas center,USA citizen applied for spouse ,we are almost 17 months still waiting…In the past the Live Agent told us that our application is in the normal process time but now they require us to call but never answer the phone and my wife is not in USA for it to go there together,I don’t know what’s going on…

me too every day i chat with live agent . i have 503 days. they transferred my case and they said your case has been assigned to an officer for the case to be reviewed a month ago.. no update yet . and i did contact congress man still waiting

Yes I received an email of action after 2 weeks no update I contacted my congressman (you can look them up and send an inquiry through the state website) and before one week I received my approval!

@Larry and Daniela Giles 🇦🇴🇺🇸❤️ just search “congressmen of —-“ (your city) it should have a website with the option to choose immigration assistance and there will be a form to fill with a box to explain you’ve been waiting X amount of time. My congressman answered my email the next day stating he will send an inquiry with USCIS and within 1 week I got the approval

That number will only allow you to talk to a call center, not an immigration agent.
If you say that you can’t find your alien number, you have more chances to talk to a person.
