Inquiry through USCIS website. Case outside normal processing time.
#I-730 I requested an inquiry through USCIS website. Case outside normal processing time. I got an email from them. It says; Due to workload factors not related to your case, they anticipate delay. What does this means? Anyone having similar situation?

It just means that they are backlogged. We are all in the same boat

Sophie May M. How will it work?

What exactly? You may ask your congressman to step in for you. You can try expediting the case yourself. Other option is just wait and do nothing. It’s up to you

It really depends on the person who looks at your request. Some agents will say they can’t help because everyone is outside normal processing times. Other person may actually try and speed up you case. You won’t know if you don’t try

Sophie May M. I requested to expedite my case but didn't got any response back. I tried calling them over and over. But still nothing.

That’s how they work, unfortunately. Ask your congressman for help

Sophie May M. Can you please tell me more about it? I don't know how to do that.

My cased was filed to Nebraska Service Center and according to the USCIS website it's outside of normal processing time. I tried to expedite my case twice and I didn't got any response back. So I asked our congressman for help. I also sent an case inquiry through USCIS website and the email said, "Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case." I'm not sure what it means but I tried asking the congressman anyway.
