I received my ead on November 2 but still didn’t receive ssn and I went to Social Security Office
they told me to wait 45 days after requesting one because Uscis will request one automatically but when I went to SSA they didn’t see anything on the status what can I do now

just applied for one, that’s what I did

i filled out the form at the SSA and after I handed the woman the form I asked her to see if USCIS had applied on my behalf and she checked and said there was no record for me. She then took my form and processed it. I received it with a week in the mail

@Rocco Forté I did go they said 45 days before applying it’s our policy because maybe Uscis will request one for. you if you didn’t receive during 45 days then come back
