Received interview notice for I-485 application.
I just received an interview notice for my I-485 application (scheduled for December 18).
I’m nervous and scared at the same time.
I had my I-130 interview last year on October 10, and it was approved on the spot after 3 years of filing and waiting.
In March 2025, I received an RFE for my I-485 and responded 1 month later, in April, but I never heard back from them.
I just received a letter in the mail from USCIS today stating:

I had my 1 130 interview last year but still not approved. They called me for 1 485 this year and still nothing. doesn’t mean when they approve they might approve at the same time? I filled concurrently in Nov 2021

@Sheero Laura I didn’t filled my I-130 and I-485 together, I filed them separately.
I had my I-130 interview last year Oct, and it was approved on the spot. So, I have an approved I-130.

@ola sho Yes, I was in removal proceedings, but I had my I-130 interview last October and it was approved on the spot. After that, I filed a joint motion with ICE to terminate the proceedings. The judge terminated the case in my favor, so I followed up with USCIS to reopen my I-485 case, which they did. In March of this year, USCIS sent me an RFE for my medical and proof of funds, which I responded to. Fast forward to last week, I received an interview letter for my I-485.

@freeman 1 it was cancelled. I went got to the USCIS office, fully ready to begin the interview and I was told it has been cancelled. They have been cancelling interviews.
