I have one question
I have one question if i-485 in EB2-NIW category approved for principal applicant the whole family get green card we need to process for family green card separately????

not sure if i understood the question.
you need to apply for yourself as well as your family
for example, if you have a kid and a wife. you will need to apply for yourself, wife and kid.
so you will have To submit 3 of the I485

you can apply simultaneously for everyone. if you wait for the principal to get it then the dependants separately, you may do the family GC category. but I don’t see the advantage of doing this.
just apply all together at the same time.
i believe that applying together does not affect the processing time.
My NIW was approved in April 2022, then applied for the GC in Oct as I waited my wife to arrive to the US.
our GC just got approved two days ago.

is that means your gc took around 8 months?

and yes around 8 months. application received Oct 20, biometric appointment Nov 8, case approved June 1.
the EAD cards were approved pretty fast around Dec 20, AP was approved on Jan 24.
I will share my timeline once I see new card is being processed.
