I have no idea to what’s holding my approval for I-485
It’s been over 3 years since concurrent filing for I-130 & I-485, finally our I-130 got approved Jan 2025 and nothing has been updated yet since! I have made several inquiries, reached out to congressman, called USCIS and all they said is that they are actively reviewing my case. I am very frustrated and depressed by such a long wait! Any ideas Fam about what else I can do?#3+years waiting#familyexpanding#noupdateatall

Worry less as long as your i130 is approved your i485 approval is coming sooner just hang in there

@DD yah, in my last inquiry they said that they are completing a background check….I wonder why it would take that long for someone without any questionable background

@Mmmm gggg Where are you from? Some countries require them to do more work to complete the check.
You might want to look into filing a lawsuit.
