I have an approved i140 but my i485still Pending.
I have to travel overseas urgently. My lawyer says I can travel on my h1b but I am worried if this will affect my green card process. Do think I will have any problems coming back. ?

I just traveled on H1B with a pending 485. Got my H1B extension stamped and returned with it. No issues!
