I was told the same thing everytime I chatted with Emma Live Agents, my case is at my local FO, but I’m still waiting on a decision.

@mary green , on your Uscis account,the bottom right you will see chat Emma,then when you click,it will show you the option to click on Live agent but you have to put your receipt number and all your details then wait till you are connected to a live agent.

@mary green You can just type in on google “Chat With Emma” and it should pop up, then select live chat, they will ask u a number of questions, then connect you into the live chat but u will have to wait for a while.

mine said the same thing! I don’t think my case is being actively reviewed. Also, I cannot find the processing time for NBC.

@Lilian A Hi, you replied to one of my posts about my 765. I still don’t have it and it has been stuck on case approval for months. I tried contacting a live agent and all the person said was it was still processing. Any word on yours?

@Lilian A We have the same time frames on everything. Yours is like 12 days behind mine. Very frustrating. I would like to get a job (part time) and start my business and start paying into social security. I am 44 so I would like to pay into it for retirement. Looking 👀 and planning for the future.

@Kingsley B , I am really frustrated at the moment. They said I can only send inquiries around November 3rd. I know someone that was approved in 6 weeks after application and it is really frustrating at this point. Have you tried to get in touch with USCIS?

@Lilian A Hi, I am very sorry that it took me a bit to reply. My husband had some weird chest pain and we had it checked out. He is fine. I sent an inquiry 🧐 and waiting to find out something. I have live chatted with an agent who said that it was processing. I was able to send an inquiry and that is it. I keep thinking something is wrong with my application but I don’t think so as they requested my long form birth certificate and medical. I don’t feel they would have asked for info if there was a problem. I am sorry you are having to wait. I feel greatful that I am in a position where I don’t have to work but there are so many that need to work and I feel very bad for people in that situation. Let’s keep in touch and share what is going on with each others applications.

@A Johnson Hi, 485 is processed at field offices so you will not be able to find the timeframes for NBC for that if that is what you are referring to. Do you have your 765?

@Kingsley B ,I hope your husband is okay? 🙏. Yes the wait is unbearable,I lost my dad and younger brother and couldn’t even get to travel for their funeral. I didn’t know I can apply for emergency advanced parole. They requested for my physical an that of my minor son and I sent it and the agent told me then that everything seems okay. I honestly don’t know what is keeping it and I sincerely wish to get my work authorization to at least be able to work.

@Lilian A Hi is okay. He is 52 and a lawyer so lots of stress and a age range where things like this (heart attacks) happen. He is not an immigration lawyer, general practice. So if you ever have non immigration questions feel free to ask me….lol. He is a kind person and always helping others. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. You could have received an emergency advanced parole. I used it for my father but it was still stressful to go through. I am not sure what takes them a long time? Perhaps some officers are given cases and they are slow. It is such a mistery how they operate. It is a broken system I know that. Please keep me posted on how you are doing. You will be in my prayers tonight along with your family.

@Kingsley B Hi! I’m sorry for my delayed reply. I was out of town and was not paying attention to this app. Yes, I have my I765. It was approved a couple hours after my biometrics were taken. Probably because I’ve already had several EADs before because I was on a F1/OPT visa.

@A Johnson Hi, I took a few days off the app. Needed to stop looking at other peoples timelines. That makes sense you got it quickly and I am happy you did.. For me, it is odd to wait so long. However, there are many people like me on the app. I think 💭 it is easy to get worked up seeing how fast or slow other people are being approved. I needed to remind my self that we are messaging with/commenting on a very small number of the people who are going through immigration. I needed to go back to my research 🧐 days in university to remember that I was drawing broad conclusions on limited data. 📊 Thank you 😊 for replying to me.
