I got a notification that my case was approved.and my case is shifted to NVC.i just want to know how much time that take for further process

1 to 2 months at NVC then it goes to the local embassy or consulate for further processing to schedule the interview. almost there! the beneficiary should get the interview in the next 4 months

@JL, u mean it's takes 4mths to get an interview date after one is documentarily qualified?

no! once you are approved and it goes to NVC. NVC will hold it for a month or two and forward it to your local embassy. once there they contact you and you can schedule your interview. That process at the embassy takes about 2 months. You are looking at about 4 months total from NVC sent date. Some embassies are faster some are slower.

@JL, d wait is really frustrating! I am waiting to hear a news on my interview date! was documentarily approved in August n still waiting for my interview date after receiving a letter from NVC that, they will b working w my home country to schedule my interview but still no news! I was hoping to spend d holidays w my wife n kids but I can't confidently hope for that now!🙄
