I don't got that, TPS It's 18 months right, When they give you this work permit after 15 months, So what you gonna do they give you a work permit with 3 months of validity right. Normally 6 months before your work pernit expired you should renew it, so what you gonna do with a EAD of 3 months

So once you get this work permit the 1st thing that you gonna think about it's to renew it, so imagine you pay what you had to pay for the TPS and they never give it to you, and when they finally give it to you shouk thinking 1rst about paying for renewal again.

I understand what you are trying to say, but I understand that this was because USCIS had not yet determined if Venezuela was going to renew TPS, in this case all EADs for TPS from Venezuela come with the new expiration date, that is, in 2024. that were approved and given to them for only 3 months, that is, until September of this year 2022, it was because USCIS has not determined the new rules.

Peter, you need to read a bit more about how TPS works, not obly with Venezuela but with other designated countries. If FRN automatically extends EAD (how it has done it with other countries), you don’t have to renew but when you do the i9 verification, you and your employee have to put the new expiration date + the FRN number and you continue working for that time. Either way, renewal is up to you, however, I recommend you to do it, despite automatic extension, so that way you can also demonstrate that you are eligible for automatic extension.
