i got same mesage ( last time i took my fingerprints was in 2018- i know they are good just for 15 months if i am not mistaken) but still they used it! I really hope for an aproval soon !!! 🤞🙏 Jan 17th applied FOR I-485 based on approved VAWA - March case transfered from Nebraska to Vermont -July sent RFE for medical - August fingerprints were taken lets hope and pray for a fast aproval for us !!! 🙏

I received a receipt saying that biometrics would not be necessary and that they would use my old one, but nothing was updated in the app. Does this mean that approval will come soon?

@God First good job 👍 my lawyer didn’t let me do thst because he believed they ll ask for it till after 2 years so medical might expire… but i think this is a big mistake….is better to send it with the whole package!

@Lana Kitanu so I sent my package for medical with my documents because immigration passed a new law within the timeframe. I sent mine that medical no longer expire within two years they have extended the medical expiration look into it

i know…. and that was since last year, correct? but my very intelligent lawyer didn’t tell me and suggested not to send it:(…. I learned later that medical doesn’t expire anymore and because of that my case delayed:( its ok … we are very close to approval I believe 🙏

@Lana Kitanu I just realized that our timeline are very similar. I didn’t apply for Advanced parole.. I know it comes with the package but honestly I didn’t plan on traveling so I only did my i765 and i485

@Lana Kitanu why did your case take so long? I see you applied for VAWA in 2016 and got approved in 2019.. why did you wait 5 years to apply for i485?

@God First because i start with asylum case and had to reopen to close it administratively and they refused it 4 times till congress got involved and everything went smooth Thanks God! you can not aply for I-485 having multiple cases unresolved so just in 2024 i was finally able to apply for Green Card and i am very grateful because I went through a lot in this process 😕

@God First my GC got approved 2 weeks after Work permit so hopefully 🙏 same will be for your case 💪but a little upset that my case was approved 21 days ago and the card was not produced yet 😞 and i need it for applyiong for UK Visa 🫣
