The country where your interview will take place is also a determining factor. South Africa or Nigeria? waiting time is always long. I will advise your keep a constant touch with NVC for an update

@Christiana Eleojo Aruwa I don't think you need any Doc for changing embassy. You can use the public inquiry form to send a message to NVC requesting a change of embassy that's all I guess. I don't know if changing of embassy affect your DQ date.

@Christiana Eleojo Aruwa , the transfer process may take some time which will add to your waiting time in transferred embassy. You should consider if this new timeline will be less than what you would have with current embassy.

@R P ...thanks a bunch. I got conflicting views forl people. Sole say current place is fater than SA, others say the reverse, and the NVC did. it advice on which wouod take longer. Their replies ain't helpful. I will wait it out, whichever the case.

Hi all, is anyone in Australia waiting for visa interview appointment and have a current priority date ? I want to have idea of the waiting time to get interview appointment. I’m an Australian-Nigerian living in Australia, priority date is current, documents mailed to NVC and I’m waiting interview appointment.
