@Lucky boy and remember you have options.. you can keep one day working for the sponsor, and go back to your career as a part time, you can take a break, visit your family. do not struggle yourself!

Thansk for the motivation @Lucky boy . I used to make around 7k a month but now I make 1500 a month. My PD is feb 2022, I lost the hope. I am worried thinking that I have to work for sponsor for next 2-3 years😢

I have a question for those who had been making more than current unskilled work. @EB3 S and @Lucky boy Did you guys OPT or anykind of work permit expired? or just went to work for other reason? @EB3 S

i do not know who you are, but you have exact same thinking as mine, you have a mom that the same as mine who never want to see her son sad. i feel you because we are on the same boat (a difficult journey and wait untill the happy ending). let’s try our best.

I have really bad situations in my work, I was about to leave my job which are my sponsors, but I have been fighting for my green card for some many years, my pain is temporary but my victory is forever. thanks for these words and I will keep fighting and waiting until I have my green card in my hands

Same boat.. PD June 2021. Same thinking.. let’s keep fighting. We are in a better position than many people, who hasn’t any hope or the opportunity to be greened one day.. But it feels good to read posts like yours.. Thank you 🙏🏻

WHY did you start to work to your sponsor before get your I-485 approved? WhY? sorry guys but you put yourselves in that situation, I would say 99% of you were doing good money, living in another state, got the EAD and first thing you do is: leaving the school (that is totally fine since you have to keep your status until you submit your I-485) after that you don’t need to study anymore, some cowards say “well I need to keep my status because if my I-485 were denied I can reapply” Really? don’t be fool guys if your I-485 was denied 99% of the time will be because you violated your status then you will be automatically terminated (your F-1 status) then make no sense keep studying after you have your I-485 pending. Then no satisfied you guys take the EAD and think your life’s will change I have heard “Great I can start work to my sponsor now I am so happy” Really? then you take everything and move to another state with your family then when you get there realize you shouldn’t do it. First you have no advantage to do it, Second now when you have started unfortunately you can’t leave (totally different situation if you have your green card in hands) then you realize you didn’t have to start because by the law (work permit) is a permission not obligation. I know will be a lot of people here saying “well if we have an interview”? good question: then you have two options: You will receive a noticed months before then you can prepare to start to work if it is the case or you have the option to don’t start since you have no obligation by the law and your green card won’t be denied because this. For sure it could be if you don’t start to work after your green card is approved. Whne your GC is approved yes go ahead and start working for your sponsor otherwise you are doing a very bad decision for your life specially if your PD is 2021, 2022 even 2023. Don’t make this mistake for those are reading this and still have the chance! And you guys that this mistake sorry but you have to go with your consequences now. Everyone has a different situation and have to analyze with your family but don’t be foolish, don’t get excited with EAD or AP they don’t change anything in your life and don’t be afraid from your agencies and sponsors they can’t do anything unless to threaten you. good luck for everyone. My PD is 2020 and I have my I-485 pending for 1 and half year I have my work permit and advance parole and I didn’t start to work and I won’t until my GC is approved. Do you know why? because I can do it I am following the law. All others decisions is made in what you think is better for you and your family but don’t be fooled by this agencies nothing will happen. I hope I can open the eyes for those who didn’t fall in this trap yet. Keep your life in the same way you are living now only start to work when you have your GC approved I couldn’t be more clear. @EB3 UNSKILLED I have been reading yours agressive and frustrated comments here for a long time. First of all, I’d no problems moving to a different state and start to work for my sponsor. our life and routine here is perfectly fine and happy. before started I was able to graduated In two programs and even with my EAD for eb3 I was able to completed my 1 one year opt working on my field. the job for the sponsor is not something that I would to in my normal life of course but besides that we’re having a really great time here and one day it will be over. I don’t see all the negatives points like you. in addition to that, i don’t have any complains about my agency. it’s a business as any other business but they never failed in respond my messages, or to give me advices and I’m super fine with that. the same way that you come here to Bring those information you have to be careful thinking that you know all the facts and truth. no one here is stupid, people here are all growing up adults, and know what they are doing or should do. IF we decided to start to work for the sponsor and complete the one year mark, and now we are here discussing other options about take a break, part time, other job or whatever it IS OKAY! if YOU are going to wait until you get your GC to start your job it is your problem, your decision. DO NOT come here to talk things to me pretending you know what’s better for my life

@Barb B I was expecting this frustrated reaction from people who didn’t read and understand what I said. First my message was directed to those are crying and complain about the situation than they have to work until get approval after they realize it was a good decision, if you are happy my friend good for you but like you said everyone has a different situation and I said that in my message, however you can’t sell to people that you are happy working for your sponsor and everyone will be the same, because what I have seen is the most people regretting and complaining because it wasn’t the best decision and they made that mistake based on threats from their sponsor and they agencies without knowing the law. Do you think it isn’t good for everyone know what they can do and what they can’t do then make a decision based on the knowledge and the law? or do you think everyone should do the same thing you did? That’s great you are doing good but you have to understand the most people come here every day complaining about that because maybe they didn’t know what I said in my first message. Put your feet in others shoes and just give your opinion based on the truth as you said about your situation, it is your reality, my message above is about my reality do you understand we are different? then my intention was purely to open the eyes that everyone can make a better decision for their life’s . What did I say that was lie? Show me please, because even we have examples like you saying you are very happy and the sponsor is great the agency is great I can guarantee you the most people aren’t and they wish to have read a message like mine before make the decision. Again good for you and I wish the best for you, when I tell my opinion or advice for everyone in this same situation I say look “I am doing this and it is working good for me, I am following the law, the law say it, however some people start to work and regret, you don’t have to but I don’t own the truth, this is your choice just analyze what is better for you specially if your pd isn’t 2020. that’s it. I don’t try to sell a dream for anyone else. the reality is the reality and most people have no ideia when they could get their GC and move to another place now to work for years isn’t a better choice and they have to know that. Good luck for everyone and keep your eyes open guys the story has two sides don’t be blind.

@EB3 UNSKILLED what I’m saying is.. one guy came here and wrote and encouragement message because he knows that many people have been working for a long time and now are looking for options after all the retrogression. why are you coming here saying what they shouldn’t have done if it’s already like it is, your message is not gonna Change a thing! everybody on the post are already working and you know that.

@Barb B what should we do ? tell everyone to make the same mistake? you didn’t get my point, yes my message can’t go back and change the past however there is a lot of people that needs to know the reality, you just said people are working a long time and they are looking for options why we should let others people make the same mistakes without knowing the truth and the law that they can make their own decision?! That’s great you are happy but I personally know people that they are literally crying and regretting every day about to start work before the green card approval, do you know what they tell me? “ I wish I knew the law I would never start to work before” that’s my point I want to help those didn’t fall in this trap because example like you “Happy” are very rare and to be honest you are the first person who I saw I know could be more but the point is people needs to know the truth, the reality and the law they make their own decisions then if they make the decision knowing that I don’t believe they still will come here to cry and complain about their situation because they knew. Why do you suppose you know my life and decisions? The only thing I said was: same boat, PD 2021, same POSITIVE thinking 😅… I already wasted time reading your poor words.. I was by no means complaining. I was only encouraging us all to keep the faith. I am presently working for my employer that I love and won't leave even after green card, so my name being mentioned here I don't know why. its all good though, I'm not easy or get upset, in try to keep the peace 😉 , one love

@Ashleigh Brands good point trying to make me a coward like many others however by the law as I am always following here in my comments it says: if you have your I-485 pending for more than 180 days even if your sponsor withdraw your I-140 (like you said and maybe wish because it looks like you made the mistake to start to work before) I have the right to find another employer within 90 days. Then Sir I am safe by the law even the cowards that don’t understand my point here I will be good 😊. I am impressed on how people don’t assume they made a mistake and really want to have others in the same situation to come here and make messages saying: “Stay positive guys everything will be fine” “ keep fighting guys” bla bla bla. The reality there is no advantage to start to work before and you don’t have to. However each person have to decide it by themselves and their family which is better but my point is: You have to know the truth. Look at this forum comment I would say 90% of them are people complaining about their sponsors because they put them on the situation because they didn’t know or they were cowards I just want to open people eyes. You don’t have to start to work, you can but you don’t have. That’s it! I don’t think it is too hard to understand is it?
