I asked Emma today
I did my biometrics last week, and wanted too see at whst stage my ead was. I know it’s too early to ask, but sometimes you get more information from one live agent rather another which I did so the live agent said right now they’re processing cases from October 2020!!! any thoughts on that? my pd is January 2021 aos thru marriage

idk my biometric was last week too

in my opinion it’s too generic…. which center, which type of cases, you case is different from others… so this is super light as an answer. People from 2021 already went further in the process than cases from prior years…. I would ask a different agent for your case, if you can potentially expedite the i-765 to get your EAD now that you’ve done your biometrics… Im thinking doing it next week

They are saying receipt date for a case inquiry. If you see the processing times for your form, the agents are telling the same thing.

any updates at least on your biometrics? any updates online on your case status? like for exemple biometrics taken?
John SmithAug 4, 2021
yes what I meant is I had some incompetent people, some really knowledgeable and some who don’t want to put too much effort in their answers… so it depends who you’re talking to one day and might have a different answer another time with another agent

yes, my cases both 485 and 765 were updated to “fingerprints have been applied to your case”
John SmithAug 4, 2021
@n Gonzales how long did it take between your biometrics appointment and your status change?
n GonzalezAug 4, 2021
it was updated the next day

yes they are currently processing EAD for marriage based for October 2020. people here have been testifying to that. October filers are currently receiving EAD and I’m also following the Uscis date for case inquiry. it’s says October 30th today so I believe it’s moving in that order.

does that mean I most likely be getting my ead 3 months from now? it’s not really hurting me, I can do without one for now I’m just genuinely curious, and also I’d like to start on some things such as building my credit history, but without ssn number it’s problematic lol

Yea November 2020 filers will possibly get theirs this month. yours maybe in 3months or less. just keep watching the case inquiry date.

go to site, check processing times. a tab will appear to find the forms and service centers you want to check. submit and it will show you processing times for cases.
