I am very desperate!! updateee they aproved it today
hello Lawfully friends, i am very desperate and i need help! I filed for I-130 3 yers ago and it gott approved in September 2022, i filed for I-485 and I-131 in april 27 2022 , I should of applied for all when i did I-130 but a stupid lawyer told me not to even though i am inside usa, when i first applied my husband was a permanent resident and then he became a usa citizen but i haven’t changed the status yet because I don’t know how ti do that, i came in usa legaly as a f1 student and i graduated, i got my employment authorization already, tomorrow i can file for inquiry about I-131 because it’s out of normal processing time, do you guys think it would help, or should I update my husband’s status?

@d d you need to update your husband's status so your application can upgrade to immediate relative.

send a copy of his naturalization certificate to the office that you got your receipts from after filing your I-485
