I-864 RFIE!!
Hello all!
I received an RFIE for my I-864 form Affidavit of Support for my I-485 marriage based green card application. I am the USC sponsor and made over 125% of the poverty guidelines for 2021, but not in 2020 tax return. I submitted paystubs, employer letter showing 1 full year of employment and currently hired, and my YTD summary. My RFE came today and said they could not prove I made 125% or more than poverty guidelines. Should I redo my I-864 with my 2021 tax return and W9s attached instead this time? We filed late December so we did not have this evidence last time. thanks!

My current income is 35k household of two (myself and beneficiary).

Get a co sponsor. Don’t pick chances and unnecessary delays with your document.

35K is more than enough if you can print out a tax transcript for 2021 from the IRS you guys should be fine

Thanks, I just got a family member who is agreeing to this. Should I just submit my co sponsors I-864 and the evidence by itself?

So my problem is that due to my situation I must paper file and the transcript will not be available until after the due date for my RFE.

I just got a RFIE and I am afraid that we are in the same situation. My wife USC is not having enough on taxes but with the child support she made all together above the minimum limit
