I-824 filing for spouse to follow join
Hello all, I am been petitioned by my employer for greencard. However, my green card(I-485) application is still pending. My lawyer wants to file I-824 now for my spouse living abroad to follow join before my green card is approved but I'm worried because of the stories I hear about I-824 and the long wait. Is it okay for my lawyer to file I-824 now even though my green card (I-485) application is pending? Please share your stories/ timeline below if you've had the same issue or going through same.
