I-824 after approval of I-130
very painful approval. told me to file I-824 because i filled two boxes instead of one. i saw lot people have going thru same pain. i dont know what to do.so hopeless. i filed the form though. fingers crossed.

It will only get more hopeless from here, I’m afraid. I remember the short-lived joy of seeing that my I-130 was approved back in December. Almost six months later, I am still in this I-824 purgatory. Just hope that your I-824 ends up at the California Service Center — it’s the fastest, by far!

@Tom R I saw your comments on other posts too. i am sorry that your lawyer made a mistake and now you have to suffer. I hope your case gets approved. have you tried expediting or talking to ur congressman? what service center is yours?

@good guy My case is at Potomac. I have made two inquiries, so far, through my congressman’s office, but both got the same “first come, first served” bs (we have solid proof that these cases ARE NOT being addressed in the order received) and that they wouldn’t be able to do anything. I may make another inquiry next month when it will be over six months. Some people in our Telegram group have been waiting for around a year.

@Tom R @fk fj i know i just started waiting period but my chest and stomach feels so heavy. i can't imagine what you guys went through. it just seems unnecessary to wait just to send APPROVED application. it is not fair at all.i hope you guys get good news soon.
