I just got a text from uscis saying that they will call me within 1-2 business days

The agent called me an hour ago. I told her my case is out of normal processing times and asked if my case has been assigned to an officer yet and she said yes but she couldn’t tell me how much longer do I have to wait. I asked her about my pending expedite requests and she said to expect a response soon

that’s great! try to be next to your phone the whole day @li ha and write down your questions, go straight to the point. They probably have a lot of phone calls to do and most likely have just 5 minutes or less. the good thing is that at least you know that the officer has access to your case not like the live agents who just read you the same thing the website says

my RD is 02/19/2021 and yours?

well my receipt date is 02/04/2021 but when I check “my case status” online it says that they received my case on 03/04/2021. i called 100 time and every time I got different answer. one agent was saying that my case will be processed with 02/04/2021 and the other was saying even though the receipt date is 02/04/2021 they assigned an officer to my case on 03/04/2021 so I lost 1 month

are you from california? I tried to contact the senator but they told me to submit documents according to uscis guidelines for expedite which is sever financial loss and risk of homelessness

they dont care i did expedited got 0 response

@li ha check your notice of action, where it says received date. that’s the date you should take as RD.

No I’m not from Cali. Yes, you have to sign the consent forms and provide all the documentation you have to make your case for the expedite request

update: I did’t get a call from tier 2 officer but I got an email saying that after careful review we determined that my case will best be addressed at the office that is processing my case. has anyone received any email like that?

how did you get a hold of Tier 2 agent?

I called uscis and ask them questions about my case and why is it taking so long, and they submitted an inquiry for me to speak to tier 2 officer. you can call and tell them that you want to speak to tier 2 officer about you case. however, it doesn’t really help, my officer never called me I just got an email saying that my case has been transferred to an office that is reviewing my case. I haven’t got any updates after that
