I-765 form returned due to filing fees
I had filed forms I-130,I-485 and I-765. forms I-130 and I-485 were accepted and I got receipts numbers for all the forms however form I-765 was returned back to me due to not paying the filing fees for the work authorization. I am confused because I thought the filing fees for the work authorization were supposed to be waived? can someone please advise. Thank you

yes I filed myself. I didn’t fill in the I-912 form. I just realized that I’m in category a9,which means you need to pay the $410

@Wale this first blunder is an indicator that you need a lawyer for your case. Don’t attempt this on your own

@wale yes you have to pay the $410 im a c9 to i submitted the same forms as you resend back i-765 with the $410 fee thats all you dont need a lawyer i filled everything out myself to

the i-912 is only if the person is asking for the fee to be waived

@rocco thank you for your input,it is good to use a lawyer especially if your case is complicated. however if you have confidence in what you are doing you can file these forms yourself and be successful.
